MVEA - Exceptional Emergency Care

The Hanson Family Emergency Department and Trauma center has 50 private treatment rooms which include 2 trauma resuscitation rooms, a 6 bed pediatric Emergency Department, as well as a behavioral health evaluation area.  Approximately 60,000 patients per year are evaluated in the Emergency Department with 15,000 admissions to inpatient areas.  The Main Campus is an ACS-verified level III trauma center with 250 inpatient beds, 3 cardiac catheterization suites, and robust surgical specialty services including neurosurgery, vascular, orthopedics, urology, podiatry, plastics, as well as general surgery.

The Saints Campus Emergency Department has 24 patient treatment rooms including an attached Ambulatory Care area.  Approximately 40,000 patients per year are evaluated in the Emergency Department with 7,500 admissions to the available 160 inpatient beds.
